BREAKUP LETTER TO DEBT

Debt has always been that friend that you hate so much but seemingly can't leave without.

Mr. V from Plenteouz.com writes a letter to uncle D informing him about their breakup and kicking him out of the house.

FABS' NEWS brings you a copy of this letter below;

Dear Uncle D,
I know you are busy running around and doing who knows what.
We need to talk. As a matter of fact I need to talk to you so just listen.
When we brought you into live, we did what everybody was doing thinking it was the right decision at the time. We gave you a home and made you a part of our family. We did a lot of fun things together; going to school together, bought a new car, bought a house, going out to eat, shopping at our favorite boutiques, relaxing on weekend getaways, – living the life! And while I was warned you could be bad for me, I totally ignored the naysayers – after all, we were having so much fun! Plus, there was enough give-and-take at the beginning to sustain our romance.

But things have changed. You have completely changed.
You began taking more than you gave, and that was really hard for me. And eventually I found myself questioning if the fun we had was really worth the stress and pain you were putting me through.
Don’t get me wrong, I know that relationships aren't one-sided. And there’s definitely more I could have done to keep us on the right track. But when I did try to rescue what we had left, you were unforgiving. You refused to change no matter how hard I tried. In fact, it seems like the harder I tried, the more determined you became.
Well, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I’m tired of focusing on you. It’s about time I start focusing on me.
I want my hard work to be valued and I want to move forward. I don’t want to work hard at something, only to find myself trapped in the same sad, dejected, depressed, miserable, and unhappy place. After all, I have a lot to give! I am a good-natured, caring, loving, kind, generous, and hard-working person. But all you make me feel is inferior, valueless, empty, worthless, pathetic and stressed out. To be honest, I don’t deserve that at all.

I want my life back. I gave you a chance and you totally blow it. I want you to move out of this house and out of my life. I don’t care where you go but just don’t come back. I am changing the locks, upgrading the security system and taking a restraining order on you.
I am tired of sitting here waiting and hoping things will change. I’ve realized that change doesn’t happen unless I make it happen. So I am making a decision that I know will change my life for the better. Improve my health and overall happiness. I am breaking up with you.
Please stop crying because this breakup is for good.
Your now Ex-love,
Mr. V

4G WAHALA IN CAMEROON

2g seemed so affordable and I managed to survive with it until 3g just flashed and paved the way for 4g. Funny thing is how customers had to know about its coming from the various operators. While Orange was busy sending messages, MTN painted the towns yellow with posters on bill boards with the news. This thing kept me wondering... I haven’t even seen the 3g effect; here comes the 4g. Sincerely, I think internet Connections have greatly improved since this 4g story came up. The problem is that is it 3g or actually 4g

Now this is what I think...

Remember Nexttel actually took credit for bringing 3g network to Cameroon right? I don’t think MTN and orange could actually sit and watch Airtel or Glo or Vodafone or even Etisalat bring 4g to Cameroon. These guys know each other.. Something big could happen in the communication industry anytime from now. MTN and orange want to avoid any situation in which another company will come in and take credit for bringing better communication services to the nation while they sit as big guns watching. Seriously, till I feel otherwise I don’t think we are going to see the midpoint of 2016 without a new network operator coming or perhaps one drops out. Take my word for it.

The fun about all this is that the operator who actually took us to the 3 Generation is somewhere unseen. They simply can't cope with the competition from their rivals. So far, I haven’t heard anything about them having 4g services. They are the only evidence of 4g existing because their “3g” looks a lot slower than what their competitors provide.

Get a good phone, visit a big city and enjoy 4g services

OMG... BLEEDING FONCHA PICKED THE WRONG ANSWER IN THE RIGHT SECTION?

Question one: “Do you wish to gain independence by joining the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

Question two: “Do you wish to gain independence by joining the republic of Cameroon.

Foncha: "Question Two without  fear of any counter-statement.

56 years later we have a 25 year dream of a certain vision 2035. If we could not do it in 56 years is there any guarantee of doing it in 20 years time? I don’t do politics but I do patriotism, the biggest schools don’t teach you to be patriotic. I’ve had a long reflection on this and still I haven’t concluded

Now this is what I think

Southern Cameroon could have been better off on its own given their available resources. They had food, they had power in Limbe, and they had water available for sea ports in Tiko and Limbe, just to name a few... All these better than what the current Gabon and Equatorial Guinea can even boast of nowadays. Sand, food, fuel, education, water in Gabon today all comes from southern Cameroon. But Gabon is listed among the countries with the most advancing economies in the world today.

Joining Nigeria would not have been the best idea but looking at the economy of Nigeria today, it would have seemed like a nirvana compared to what Southern Cameroonians are facing now. I don’t know much about federalism but it sure looks good especially seeing that up to the least government official is voted for leadership. Imagine the evolution such an economy promises. They have the most resonate African economy; entertainment industry, technology etc are all in good hands.

It’s true there are a lot of details we surely don’t know... Maybe Foncha was not bestowed with the full contract, maybe the guy could not read or maybe he actually made a good decision at that time knowing that if we were with Nigeria today, Boko Haram could be part of our genealogy. Foncha made a very questionable decision that leaves many resented about today.

This debate doesn’t end here. Tomorrow I could have a different perception on things, or perhaps that upcoming vision 2035 could actually unearth. But it has been a discussion for 56 years and it will continue to be a discussion in years to come. What do you have in mind?

BIG BELLS RING FOR THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW.... ITS OVER

After all the rumors I've been hearing, watching and reading over the fast 1 month or so, it all boils down to February 1st. A day in which no rumors have any meaning. Its all about which player has gone or which player has come. Strange thing about this transfer window is that the big clubs are somehow silent leaving the smaller clubs with all to do. But i may argue that there is no longer any big or small club.. if you doubt me, check Leicester City's records this season..

Just to help lovers of football or those who follow the transfer window in detail, you might want to follow just dailymail or skysports to have a fun filled last 6 hours to the end of this transfer window. have fun guys!!!

CHELSEA FC 1 - AS MONACO 3..... CHELSEA MANAGER SACKED OVER HIS TEAMS POOR PERFORMANCES

No need apologizing for the title because we all know its false but i use it just to make a point. The performance from Arsenal yesterday could earn Wenger a sack in many other teams around the world.

Few big clubs in the world will tolerate such a performance at home in a champions league knockout stage. Especially to a team at Monaco's level. Let’s not even go to the extent of comparing both teams in financial terms because Arsenal is running a budget three times bigger than that of Monaco.

Imagine we swap team owners. Claudio Ranieri would still have been the coach of Arsenal and Wenger will have been sacked by Greece by now. Or perhaps let's say Wenger was just appointed by Roman last summer after a poor performance by Mourinho in the Champions league Semi finals against Athletico Madrid, We can all guess the main headline in all the newspapers this morning.
Last week, Jose Mourinho said in one of his interviews that Arsene has a dream job... Arsene always has the chance to correct his errors... Arsene has had more than 20 second chances in more than 15 years in charge.
One thing is certain, even if the arsenal board don’t want to send Wenger parking; I think he is a damn lucky man because the performance from his team yesterday was poor and could cost him his head in another team.

CHOOSE YOUR GAMES TO WATCH TODAY.... BIG GAMES AROUND EUROPE

Its another weekend and we are all happy because football is back and we will all have the chance to watch our favorite teams play. In this blog, I am simply going to create your awareness on the big games in the various leagues, the matches we wont want to miss and matches with great significance in the various leagues around Europe.
ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
The English Premier league is always fascinating to watch and keeps our eyes glued to our TV screens.  It’s a pity I have to talk just about one or two fixtures given all the games are always cup finals

The Premier league leaders, Chelsea will be taking on relegation threatened Burnley. A win for Chelsea will further increase their chances of clinching the title in May given that they are 7 points of last years champions Manchester City. Burnley are finding life in the Premier league a difficult one and they are stuck in 19th position.  This game kicks off at 15:00GMT
Manchester city on their part take on New Castle united. On paper they have a more difficult match than Chelsea but as the history of this league shows, there is no easy game. This is also not a game to miss. It kicks off at 17:30GMT
THE SPANISH LA LIGA
In Spain, the race for the title is really tight as just one point separates the leaders from the team in second position. Barcelona is keeping chase of Real Madrid and any slip from the “Merengues” will see the Catalans go ahead. Barcelona take on Malaga in the Camp Nou on Saturday at 15:00GMT and they could move to top spot with a win at least for 24 hours until Real Madrid take on relegation fighting Elche at Mid day,on Sunday.

It really promises to be an interesting weekend in the LIGA BBVA
THE GERMAN BUNDES LIGA
This league always looks boring because the leader always go far ahead leaving those following her behind.  Bayern Munich who is the leader is 8 points clear of second placed Wolfsburg who is another 8 points clear of third placed Borrusia Muchen Gladback. This means the gap between 1st and 3rd is 16.

However the league always promises some good encounters with Bayern Munich taking on 13th placed Paderbon while Wolfburg face an easier task against 17th and Relegation threatened Hertha Berlin. 2013 champions league Finalists who are having a though time in the league this year did some good for themselves by defeating Stuttgart last night to climb up to 10th position.
THE ITALIAN SERIE A
The Italian league is another interesting one. The leaders, Juventus beat Atalanta last night to move 10 points clear of second placed Roma. Juventus had to play their match on Friday because they have a tough champions league assignment next midweek. Roma on their part will travel to Verona to face 17th placed Hellas Verona while third place Napoli will welcome 13th place Sassuolo.

The Milan teams are finding life hard this season as they are placed in 10th and 11th positions. Ac Milan will welcome Genoa while Inter Milan will travel to Cagliari.
MOST OF US FOOTBALL LOVERS HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND AHEAD OF US. ENJOY YOURS!!
